The Japanese Center in St. Petersburg

The Japanese Center in St. Petersburg has been working from March, 2001 as branch of the central Moscow office of Autonomous Non-profit Organization "Japanese Center". The organization consists of seven Japanese Centers: in Moscow (2 centers), St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Work of the specified centers is carried out according to the Memorandum between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Japan "On activity of the Japanese center for technical assistance to the reforms which are carried out in the Russian Federation in the territory of the Russian Federation " of June 29, 2003 and some other intergovernmental documents. Generally heads of enterprises and other businessmen, future support of development of Russian economy, are trained in the Japanese centers.
